Stressed – Desserts

                                                            Stressed – Desserts                                                              1/30/2010

I have talked to one of my friends over the weekend, she felt stressed out. Below are some issues that bother her lately.

Irresponsible Attorney

IRS Auditing

J&L Split Suddenly

Knotty Partners

Annoying Banks

 Expensive Contractors

Troublesome Tenants

Unhappy Husband

Haiti Earthquake

B. deceased

B.’s wife got robbed and killed

……

Words are powerful and yet words are powerless. I don’t know what to say and how to comfort her. There are things within her control, things without. Just wish she can overcome these obstacles, one at a time.  Do you know

‘Stressed’ spelled backwards is ‘Desserts’ ?

My friend, do you still remember the famous poem “Ode to the West Wind”(西 颂) from the famous poet Percy Shelley(雪莱)?

If winter comes, can spring be far behind?  (冬天已经来了,春天还会远吗?)

There is one thing in common for stressed and desserts: A little is great, too much is not healthy.Hope your friend overcome adversity. Sometimes things were hard to bear are sweet to remember. Spring will come.

  2. Yvonne says:

Simplifying life is a must. This might include getting rid of things once were very important. But sacrifices have to be made in order to make major changes in life. A turning point must be reached before a recovery process can begin.
